Professional Couples Counseling
When our most intimate relationships begin to devolve into dysfunctional patterns, it can be challenging to right the course, given the lack of healthy conflict-resolution modeling so many of us were exposed to throughout our lives and the influence of our past relational experiences on our current responses. My approach integrates a somatic-infused, mindfulness-based framework with research-based methods to refine and develop relational skills, thereby improving dynamics. We will develop an individualized plan to enhance communication skills and learn how to repair and increase intimacy, respect, and compassion toward one another while also exploring conditioning from each partner's family of origin.

I have completed both Level 1 and Level 2 Gottman Method Couples Therapy Trainings through The Gottman Institute. Potential areas of treatment focus include shifting patterns of chronic conflict, coping with infidelity, improving communication, enhancing attunement and feelings of connection, and managing specific difficulties related to parenting, sex, finances, and other daily stressors.
Please note that I am open to facilitating sessions to promote improved parent-adult-child relational dynamics, adult-sibling dynamics, or any other dyad ready to shift their patterns of engagement.

"Relationships aren't one big thing - they are a million little things, every day for a lifetime." ~The Gottman Institute
